DOVE-Net "General" is probably not the best place to ask for tech help. We have better conferences for that.
I have an old window 10;unit I want to set up for sbbs. I can copy sbbs over to it and it run's but when I try to install ntvdmx64 I cannot get windows defender to get out of the way no matter what I try.
I've successfully installed NTVDMx64 on multiple Win10 systems. Can you elaborate?
I also noticed in dos
when I try run an executable it cannot find it even if I am in the same directory it is located in.
If it's a 64-bit edition of Windows and you do *not* have NVTMDx64 installed, you can't run DOS programs. Normally, it'll still find and try to execute the .exe file, but just report an error, e.g. "Unsupported 16-bit Application".
What am I missing out on? I hope someone can
tell me the obvious thing I am overthinking. Thank you.
