I made it this far and keep getting errors trying to import the messages. No errors on areafix commands. No errors on authentication. Any clues what I have obviously missed? I am using CRAM-MD5 setting.
My password we agreed upon is working and set for session, fix, and tic. No errors being reported.

Howdy,
So if stuff is coming into "nonsecure", then there is issues with authentication.
Make sure the following:
* The "session" password is case sensitive (when using CRAM-MD5) - so make sure your passwords have the same case.
* Also make sure, since Mike run's two networks, that your binkp password is the same for both networks. In the above outbound, your authentication might have passed for 999:*, but might be silently failing for 954:*

You're receiving echomail in your non-secure inbound directory (and they're ignored by SBBSecho consequently). That suggests that your BinkP session was not authenticated (i.e. with a password).

I guess even if the areafix login password works with error level 0 it can be bad for the messages packets?
Do you think mike at hobbynet set my
passwords up incorrectly?
I had it agreed on as 7 numbers, I asked him to
change it to 8 characters being 4 numbers and 4 capital letters.
I have been
watching your YouTube video on fidonet set. I hope it helps. Thanks for your help!
I should say the areafix login and requests are generating error level 0. There is obviously an authentication error somewhere. My password is 7 numbers and it works for areafix. I asked mike to change it to a mix of numbers and letters today. Maybe that is the fix to the problem. It's got me aggravated because setting up fsxNet was a 20 minute fast setup and running deal. Thanks for writing back to me.

Howdy,
I think DM replied.
Your "session" password is used for BINKP sessions - which is the issue here because mail is going in the "unsecure" dir.
Areafix, Filefix and packet passwords are *not* used during BINKP sessions - they are for other things, so you can ignore those for now and focus on your ensuring your session passwords match *exactly* with Mike. (And if you have both health and hobbynet addresses, make sure they are exactly the same.)

A session password is different than a packet password which is different than an areafix password.
I don't know. You haven't shared any logs snippets to tell us.
That should not matter.
Good luck!
